First DON’T PUT WORDS IN MY MOUTH! I made a comment that putting packages in a drop box was a dumb thing to do. Evidently there are a lot of you with guilty consciences as you took that as saying that YOU were dumb. THAT IS NOT WHAT I SAID!
I also think smoking is a dumb thing to do. A lot of people, including myself, do it, but I don’t think the PEOPLE who do it are dumb. I think SMOKING is a dumb thing to do.

It has also been asked what have I done for the CC>CC. Well—what haven’t I done would be easier to answer, and take a lot less time, but here you go---
My husband and I don’t have money we can throw away, so have to be VERY frugal with it. We do as much as we can with what we have.
We have supported this club since before it was born and hope Archie will agree that we encouraged him when he started this club up.
We have urged many, many to join, and I bet some of you joined because of us.
We have done more than ANYONE in the early days to promote the hobby and how it is now presented to you, the collector.
We were instrumental in getting the “chip holders” made just for this hobby.
We were instrumental in getting people to start looking at the HISTORY, and not just the items themselves, though both are very closely linked.
We were instrumental in many books being written, including the very nice books Dwayne Kling wrote.
We partnered with Howard Herz to write the Promotional Token Book.
I would go on and on, but enough is enough, and I DON’T WANT ANY GOLD STAR! If elected, I will recline! We are NOT runners, and never will be. That is best left to those that know how to do it. WE KNOW OUR PROPER PLACE IN THE ORDER OF THINGS!
