On the winner's side...Since both the Colts & Patriots won, that means that they will meet next weekend to see who remains undefeated. The Patriots finished the 1st half of the contest at 8-0. If the Colts win next week they will also have finished the 1st half at 8-0. But, since the tie-breaker is who scored the most points, the Patriots would win the tie-breaker since they have scored 107 more points than the Colts up to this point. I doubt that the Colts would beat the Patriots by more than that when they play.

That means that Jay "I LOVE this contest" Sands in the $1 contest & Kevin Aydelott in the $5 contest will each win 20 chips. If the Colts end up losing next week, they would finish the 1st half of the contest at 7-1 & could end up in a tie with the Cowboys if they win. Then we would have to go to the tie-breaker. The Colts have scored 224 points through 7 games & the Cowboys have scored 227. If the Packers were to win tomorrow night & next week, they also would be at 7-1. But, they have only scored 142 pointts & would really need to score quite a few points in the next two games to make it matter.

On the loser's side...Dennis Shoop & Ellen Springer in the $1 contest & Fred Lamb & Jim Episale in the $5 contest ended up tied. Both the Miami Dolphins AND the St. Louis Rams finished at 0-8 for the 1st half of the contest. The tie-breaker here is who scored the least amount of points. Making Ellen Springer & Jim Episale the winners as their St. Louis Rams only scored 99 points compared to the Miami Dolphins 166. They will each get 20 chips, while Dennis Shoop & Fred Lamb will get 10 each.
