that it is a dumb thing to mail that type of package in a drop box. I agree that it was packaged correctly, and he might have mailed it at the counter, I don't know if he did or not. I also agree that it is the fault of the post office for damaging the package. I am just saying that that type of package should never be mailed in a drop box. That is part of the consequences of having to mail things--you have to go through the correct procedures to do it correctly, or forget it.
