The only thing I see in the spec list that would make me leery is the operating system, Windows Vista. There's still too much of today's popular programs that need patches or just won't work with Vista. ...it's almost like Gates (Windows) is morphing into Jobs (Apple) 20 years ago.

You'd have plenty of memory, plenty of HD space, decent speed, as well as built-in wireless and room to add external stuff if needed. If they offer the same machine with Windows XP, buy it yesterday!
