There is no definative proof either way. Ypou can do a search in the archives for Thunderbird chips and can see that this chip has been discussed numerous times in the past 3-4 years.
On another note, In case you couldnt tell by my other posts, I agree with Gene 100%.
Unless you are well known here on the board, many people will not reply to your posts unless you post your full name or membership number in your heading. A testiment to that is that you have had 300+ views and not one post of information you requested except from Gene (and now myself).
