Tropicoro Casino in the El San Juan Hotel also opened in 1949. Normandie Club closed in 1948 upon the legalization of gambling. Jack's Club opened in 1945 and closed in 1948 according to Al Rollins' Catalog of Obsolete Puerto Rico chips.
