I am new to chip collecting and would like to make a significant purchase so that I might have a collection of substance. I want to avoid eBay for several reasons, and I believe going direct to the “pros” of the hobby is the best route to take. I have read the books, joined the club and read the correspondence on this board. I am not new to collecting, just collecting chips. I used to collect and deal sports cards, but pricing made continuing in the hobby untenable, forcing the liquidation of my collection. That is why I gravitated to chips. You can find my eBay user ID under bobco2003. I have a Feedback rating of 1108 (99.6% Positive).

Here is what I wish to collect: Nevada chips of R-7 to R-10 rarity (M-Z). I prefer to collect higher grade chips and will avoid, at all costs, anything that is graded. I am philosophically opposed to the concept.
