I share that concern as well. But mine stems from being "out of the loop" on the East Coast and not having as much access to the local club as others.

I have seen my $1 La Rue plummit (although I purchased it last year "before the find") and got sucked in on the recent Horseshoe flood with the $0.50 Large Key. I paid more than book and now it's "over-valued" for my tastes. That goes back to my statement about being "out of the loop" on the East Coast.

What I have learned is that, if it's on eBay and it's not at it's value for the guides by the time you find it then caveat emptor. Just watch it and be cautious.
