Now wait until you start playing around with adding new fields, moving them around and changing field names. It gets addicting! It's a labor of love. I actually look forward to playing around with it and entering chips.

One this I discovered when I first started was that what I had thought was a complete inventory before using my database was far from it. I did a complete inventory, and discovered that chip that were in my collection binders were not in my spreadsheet. Yes, I actually used to use a spreadsheet when I was a new collector. So I was able to add a lot of entries that had been negligently left out. I then went on to discover that many chips that were in my collection listing were missing from the binders. Not good. Luckily, many of them were discovered in my trader books. Many....but not all. I had actually traded many chips from my collection. Not good again.

Also during this hands on inventory I found that there were quite a few chips that really needed to be upgraded.
