That's the new way for eBay to (kind of) mask the identity of bidders in a high-dollar auction. The feedback-score is real, and the masked bidder name is carried over to all auctions he bids on. In many cases, you can still figure out who is bidding in chip auctions because so many are well known and the two actual alpha-characters in the masked ID are really in the bidder's ID.
Kind of a response to "private" auction objections where nothing is shown about bidders, not even their feedback rating.
