my advice...
In Response To: BAD SELLER AVOID ()

It all depends on how valuable the chip is. If you got a great deal, I wouldn't kill the deal over an extra $15 shipping.

Moreover, did you know he only accepts money orders or cashier checks and they have to be mailed by priority mail (which costs $4.60)?
I think the poster above misread the auction details. The seller is sending it priority mail, and for this the seller wants the buyer to pay $5.00

When something screwy like this appears after an auction, I --as a buyer-- always nicely cite the inconsistencies. Invariably the seller goes along with me/with common sense. Be nice now; you can always be nasty later on. A lot of the confusion stems from eBay"s detailed "Sell Your Item" form. I, as a seller, often overlook stuff, so items from old auctions that I forgot about can appear in the boilerplate of a new auction. It always annoyed me that the boilerplate always seems to say "insurance not offered"; I often forget to edit that. I have never had a seller refuse a request for insurance.

In general, I think it is unlikely that the seller will steal such a small sum as about $100, and have his feedback messed up (perfect 100% positive now) and be at odds with eBay and the law.
