Today on the job, about 9:00, an Ironworker fell to his death while working on the Casino (I think). The accident was about 100 yards from where we are working. We came back from break to find the ambulances and ladder firetrucks on site again. Most of the job shut down out of respect for our fellow Union Brother. They are getting closer to the magic number I posted a while back on the total deaths on CC. By my count that is the 6th person to lose his life on this dangerous job. The news reports 4 but I believe that is only this year. Please keep this man's family, and all the guys/gals on this job in your thoughts and prayers, that we will make it home to our families every nite and so our chipper friends will have a new place to harvest chips in the near future.
