It is REALLY bad here!! I will not step out of my apt. after dark. The Strip is not safe even during daylight hours. There have been shootings, robberies and rapes on and off the Strip that never get reported, our Mayor is in with the papers and makes sure that 90% of the crime stays out of the press because it the national press gets ahold of the bad news it will drastically cut into the tourism and we need that to exist here. North Vegas, East Vegas, the Strip, it does not matter where you live or go, the crime rate is the worst in the nation, the homeless is the worst in the nation, and foreclosures of homes is the worst in the nation because everybody is moving out of LV because of the worsening situation here. It seems like everyone wants to get out while they can leave in one piece. It was not like that when I moved here years ago but boy, has it changed and not for the better!! The road rage is so bad that I am afraid to drive on the roads here. Anybody thinking of moving here better think long and hard before doing so.
