Wow. I think more was read into my request about motivations than was intended or implied. I am a new collector and poster here (as can evidenced in my profile and member #) and simply had no idea what the answer was so I asked the question. Obviously I got my answer, but some of you didn't need to be as blunt or implying bad motivations to my questions as you were. Perhaps the words didn't directly state it that way, but it seems clear that some of you felt that way. I saw many people offering personal chips for trade and thought it might be a cool way to help my collection of chips to give someone a personal chip they may want to collect in trade for a chip I want to collect. That didn't seem to be an unfair assumption on my part. Apparently some of you feel that was an unfair assumption. If you took it that way, all I can do is apologize for being new and asking a dumb question that many of you that have been around take for granted. You may want to remember that you were new once too and didn't immediately know the answers to every question. I was asking for the 'wisdom' of the group. I wasn't asking to be made to feel stupid. I apologize if anything I am saying offends anyone. I just wanted to reply and let you know how I felt about some of the responses. I thank everyone who replied for taking the time to answer and I hope my response does not keep you from answering any future questions I may have. Thank you.
