My wife Lori Hides her purse and the check book.The kids run to hide their piggy banks.
How do I describe it.If chip collecting is like cocaine, then Chip Chat is like crack cocaine.
I see the chips on the front and most don't cause a stir.
But, then I get to reading and relize their must be a magic spell in that rhetoric!
Its one thing to see a chip you want or need in your collection, but,its another thing to look at a chip,that you don't need or want, and read Dougs description and suddenly I want to bid on them all!
Doug tells you things about the chip you did not know or didnt know to look for.
Even when I heard Doug was speaking at the 1st timers work shop,I thought "who better"
Who better then a dealer who starts the newbie's with a little taste of chip chat and then before they know what hit them, they will come back for more knowlege, more stories,and buy more chips and then they are hooked.
Yeah I hate chip chat...sometimes. No. Not really. Its great. I cant wait to see if I won an auction, or to see the NEXT issue of chip chat.
I hope Lori finds her purse by then.
