You should have sued Alarmco when that happened- totally unacceptable. They're one of the oldest and used to be one of the best...guess they've gone downhill. Kinda explains why they are always seeking service techs in the help wanted ads these days.

But I still say private armed response is the way to go...in LV anyway. Last armed patrol we had in Flatbush, the guy turned crackhead and burglarized my garage. But that's NY for ya!

Problem with ADT is that they are running around the country offering "free" systems that offer minimal security so they can have their stupid little signs on everyone's lawn. They and the other big ones are driving out the little guys, and could care less about security. That's one of the reasons I gave up...you can't compete with them.

Bottom line....it's the Boy Scout marching song- "be prepared."
