Dean and I had 2 casino collectibles retail shops in downtown Reno, one in the Silver Spur casino, and have been doing this long before there was a CC>CC, sending out booklets with what we had to sell, etc. We even helped publish the book on promotional tokens with the Herz's, and we have never gotten any award either. I think I can safely say that we really pioneered the merchandising of chips in this hobby too. We were also the first full time casino collectibles business in existence. I wished Bruce Landau was still around to tell you all the story about when he first came to our shop. It was just priceless!

Anyway, hope you have a wonderful birthday--Dean turned 72 earlier this year too. Hang in there. Maybe someday they will give both of us an award for just being ourselves if nothing else.
