I would also agree that a person who doesn't accept money orders, cashier's cheques, personal checks, etc. is also severely limiting their sales. I am only saying that as a buyer I, and probably a lot of other buyers, have been spoiled by the convenience of Pay Pal. If there is an item I want on eBay but the seller doesn’t accept Pay Pal, I’m not bidding; another similar item will soon be along for sale.

I am sorry you have been a victim of fraud; my wife and I have also been through two similar experiences with her purse being stolen out of her classroom. But I would say the risk of fraud is minimal if you follow Pay Pal’s rules and I would also submit to you that assuming that risk by accepting Pay Pal is getting to be a necessary cost of doing business.
