the phrase "inalienable human rights" comes to mind...something I read once a long time ago. I didn't see the word "citizen" in there anywhere.

The guys words can't stand up to scrutiny. It can't hurt to let him make an ass of himself.

I guess he also has a right to be tried by a jury of his peers...since he's made himself available to us!
