As a 30 year Yankee fan, born and raised and still living in the heart of Red Sox Nation, I am reminded of a billboard I once saw. It went something like this.....

For all those Sox fans out there, if the Yankees/Sox tie for the division, there will be no playoff, no Bucky F'in Dent, no Aaron Boooooone, no nothng because the Yankees won the season series 10-8 and that's the 1st tie-breaker!!!!

Baseball only counts in October when the Yankees are usually playing for the World Series.
