My chiropractor was less than impressed when I told him I had to take the Prednisone since I couldn't stand the pain anymore. I don't think he understands the concept of " I don't care what relieves the pain, so long as it is gone". For anyone who has never had a serious back problem I am here to tell you to have sympathy for those that do - it is not that the pain is so unbearable as it is that the pain never goes away and intrudes on every move you make. Sometimes it is even impossible to find a comfortable position to sleep in. It is enough to drive ya nuts.
