I would be the first to defend our freedom on speech.
I found this on a Rooz Online, an Iranian site:
Ahmadinejad Can't Take a Joke (or a Hint)
A sense of humor apparently ranks even lower than personal hygiene on Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's list of priorities. He might have responded to an anonymous text message suggesting that he doesn't wash often enough by taking a long hot shower. Instead, as WorldNetDaily reports,
He fired the president of the phone company, had four people arrested, took other legal action and accused those involved of conspiring with the Israeli foreign intelligence service Mossad, according to the Iranian opposition website Rooz Online.
This is par for the course in Iran, where bloggers routinely face harassment or imprisonment, text message traffic is monitored by the government, and several people have reportedly received court summonses for making jokes about Ahmadinejad's quest for nuclear weapons with which to blow up Jews and other infidels.
