In the 1st hand below, two guys go all in before the flop. One with Aces & the other with Kings. I kind of felt sorry for the guy with the Kings. They just get to the final table & he is thrilled to see Kings & now is going to be the first of the 9 to hit the rail after playing 17.5 hours! Instead it is...CRY me a RIVER time & he hits a King on the river to get up to $7 million in chips. The guy with Aces is then the low man at the table with $1.6 million. But then in the 2nd hand below, the same guy gets Aces AGAIN 8 hands later & has them hold up. He gets up to about $5 million in chips.
As it turns out...the guy who hit the King on the river to get saved, ended up coming in 2nd, the tournament just ended & lasted TWENTY ONE HOURS! They made a deal heads-up. So, he won $260,000. That King on the river, ended up winning him another $242,000!!!
