I agree that 'it would be nice if' and 'they should', but unfortunately that's not the world we live in, and I don't see much chance of anything changing for the better any time soon.

So I prefer to adopt a positive attitude and find solutions for the problems that confront me (even if the problem shouldn't be there).

Yes, it costs me money to print a readable manual. Yes, it does cost extra for a second monitor (you really should try it). But my problems are now solved and I can get on with what I want to do, rather than girping about what 'should be'.
