1. Doug Saito stopped by for a while on his way back to San Diego. He let me look at some of the chips he plans to put in a future Chip Chat Auction. What fabulous chips, it will be a great auction! He had lots of chips from very old and long gone casinos. I'll have to see if I can cash in my annuities.

2. Earlier Janice and I viewed Steve Passalacqua's DVD on the first convention and an early Casinorama Jim Munding had at the Bellflower Masonic Temple. I believe this DVD is a must for anyone interested in the "early days" of our club. It is amazing and well worth the time. Janice and I were amazed at seeing collectors/vendors and how they looked 25+ years ago. Also some of the greats that are, sadly, no longer with us are interviewed by Steve.
