in any place that the general public uses. Pubs, bars, work places, restaurants, company vehicles even.
So it's pretty much just left to outside in the open or in your own house.

I don't smoke and so am all for the new ban over here.

If you get caught smoking in a public place then you receive a hefty fine of about $100 I think roughly. Even the landlord at a bar/pub gets fined if someone is smoking in his joint. Also it's an on the spot fine of $160 if you get caught stubbing out a cigarette and leaving it on the street now too. New rules came in here on July 1st this year.
