to go smoke free in AC (I think the Taj started it when they got sued by someone - a rumor I heard or read long ago). It wasn't true. In fact, patrons seemed to like the smoke-free poker rooms more. Of all of the places that have gone smoke-free in public areas (San Jose started the trend, I believe), how many have gone back? None that I know of. The first complaint is always from the restaurants and bars which fear they will lose too much business. The studies I have seen do not support long term loss of revenue. In fact, the adjustment has been pretty quick in most places I have been or read about. I'm sure the AC casinos will find the same adjustments happen.
