I was living on Long Island at the time and working at a physical therapy office that serviced the fire department. The day after, 9/12/01 stands out also I had the early shift at the office and usually that ment an hour of tough commute to go 17 miles. On September 12th there were no cars on the road and I made it to work in 20 minutes. It was eerie not to see a single car on the road.
