What would you estimate would be a reasonable reduction of pricing on a chip that is clearly worn from use? I picked up tonight on fleBay a chip from the El Dorado Club, N8215, but it's visibly worn as far as the hot stamp is concerned. The writing is still legible on the chip, so would a reduction of, oh let's say, 1/3rd value be normal? I know that as an average-condition chip it'd be an R value, but I'm considering what the replacement cost would be later on down the line. (I'm to the point that I'm needing to insure the collection... only 200+ chips, but the replacement cost would be well over $3500.)
Comments? Suggestions? And no, I'm not going to mention how much I really got the chip for... *GRYN*
