Welcome to the board grin
In Response To: Jumping in... ()

The King International was a casino in the Holiday Inn on Aruba. It has been replaced by other casinos and is now the Excelsior. Many of the King International chips have been released to the market (perhaps the entire rack), and they are not rare, nor hard to find. They are nice chips, however. To find out information about Aruba chips, first, you can buy a book by Ralph Pollack on chips of the Dutch Caribbean. E-mail me if you want Ralph's contact information. It's a very nice book and highly recommended. One word of caution is that it is a bit old, and some of the price information is outdated. There are a number of new chips since the book was published. Second, there is now forming a Caribbean Collectors Club. If you are interested, e-mail me and I will send you an application form (only $5 for 2007 to join). Terry Schaffer is working on an on-line chip guide which will be very nice, but, of course, takes an enormous amount of time to create. Terry does not have an enormous amount of time right now, so who knows when it will become a reality. Also, simply ask questions here. Many will be happy to share their knowledge with you.
