To my way of thinking, unsubscribing would entail a private email to Neil (or as Neil spells it, Neal) asking to be removed from the list.

Posting in the subject line "REMOVE ME PLEASE!" all in Caps, no less, followed by a "thefatbastardonline.com; Take me off your email!", also in the subject line, was perceived by me and I'm sure others as an attacked on Neil. At that point a defense of Neil was warranted.
