Well its already WAY behind. The 6700 is a PDA/Smartphone made by HTC. Its sold under a variety of names by different carriers, Sprint's being the PPC-6700. It runs Windows Mobile 5, and can be tethered as a modem giving EVDO speeds through your PC. its not as fast as broadband, but for "normal" usage its just at the bottom edge of fine.
I've actually thrown mine in a drawer. It has great data service, and like Jim said its cheap, but its a lousy phone with poor voice quality and terrible battery life.
