Over at UNLV Gaming Research Center they've got an an exibition titled "50 Years of Dining on the Las Vegas Strip" that I found interesting. Starts off with El Rancho Vegas just kind of backing into the development of the buffet and takes the theme up to today's celeb chef places. I enjoyed a couple of pics of the Sands Garden Room where Frank Sinatra drove a golf cart through a window and Carl Cohen served him a knuckle sandwich as well as a big can of Howard Hughes Whoop A$$. 1980 and the coffee shop at the Riv was Cafè Noir. Cafè Noir. Bet you couldn't get a breakfast burrito there either! Might be worth a look: http://gaming.unlv.edu/dining/index.html
