Finally! After weeks and weeks of asking people:"Pardon me.....do you happen to have any casino/poker chips from Vegas or Reno,in the house that you may brought back from your adventures?" "Pardon me...by any chance do you"......... "Pardon me...do you have"...uh...hmmmm.....well....you guys know the drill.
So,today after a not very particularly great day of "saleing",I came across one near the end of the day in which there happened to be a large jar of matchbooks of which many were from Vegas.I asked the gentleman in charge if he happened to have any chips from Vegas and he said that he had one inside that he found today while getting ready for the sale.He said he picked it up about 20 years ago.
I asked him if he would like to sell it and he said "sure...I'll go in and get it." Well...after weeks of false alarms ie:"I can't find them....I probably sold them in my last sale", or....."I let the kids play with them",I was not getting my hopes up too much BUT....lo and behold...this is what he brought out to me and told me that I could have it for $5.00 face value.
WELL...here it is:THE HOLIDAY CASINO!
