I found my notes on the club copy of Bill Borlands Book
It was #013 and was given to a chipper named Harold Flartey. It has to be a 1988 edition with that #
Robert Pardue can furnish what the book states about Silver Star chips as well as any chipper can request the book to see for themselves.
It was the book that made me want purchase mine at the 1st convention I went to.
It can prove or disprove the fact that there the Nevada Mold chips existed. I leave it to the researchers.
I believe that Bud Jones did indeed make Nevada mold chips for the Silver Star before Bill Borland purchased the rights to the mold.
Maybe the chips never saw play but Borland did not make at least the lower denoms.
Take care
