I don't know how I did it (I'm sure alcohol had a tennie-tiny hand in it :O), but the comp "fall-out" from the convention is threatening to break our mailbox off it's post.....
The last night of our convention stay, I wandered over to the Fremont and played VP until 7 am....Ended up with my bankroll back plus $497 ahead (could not break $500). So far, we've received 12 (yup, twelve!) VIP offers from the Fremont, including comped rooms, comped meals and up to 33 free spins on certain machines (you keep whatever you win). Other offers include free golf tournaments (obviously they have not seen my golf scores - it's more like "cow pasture pool" when I play!), slot tourneys, VP tourneys, etc, etc. They want their money back!!
Two VIP offers from the Riviera that include upgraded rooms and show tickets (I'm holding out for hopefully another New Years' Eve offer).
And in a blurry haze, I remember zig zagging over to Circus,Circus (after a Splashbar session) and playing VP for around 4 hours (I still had all of my bankroll the next morning plus alittle over $40 in winnings, so I did ok). A few days ago an offer came in from CC that includes 2 free nights and $100 in free play. Since I can milk $100 to death when playing VP, I've decided to take them up on their offer and return to my beloved Vegas and shop, eat 'till I explode ( I'll try to best my convention record of 6 shrimp cocktails in 2 days at the Golden Gates Casino) and chip/silver strike hunt. I booked it for the same time as the Sept. Southern Nevada Chip Club meet at the Leatherneck Club. I'm looking forward to seeing Dawn, Jukie, Tyrus, Craig, Gina and all the other locals soon.
....Is life good or what???
Anyone else getting dirty looks from their mailman?
