Some more on our friend Borland.
He wrote the first guide book on NV chips. His blue book was the bible on NV chips at one time.
He identified most of the early distributors and named nany of the old molds. His book was and still is invaluable to me in my research on Illegal club chips.
He sued the NV Gaming board over chips and who owns them. Guess what? He won the suit!!!!
I have IDed over 700 Borland chips.
Only 113 of them are what I call counterfeits.
Like David said, I don't think Borland ever looked at or considered the 113 chips as counterfeits. He is gone and we probably will never know the full story.
BTW, I found his first wife. I bet she has some dirt on Borland, when I get around to talking to her.
