Gene, first off as I told Spragg in an earlier email, I appreciate the work you both have done on this. Also a thanks to the entire Club for trying to keep us all informed, esp the younger generations like myself, that will be re-living this very same problem in 10-20 years. Most on this board understand all you are talking about and know all the names that are getting thrown around. BUT, some of us are having problems following all that has been revealed in the last week .

I guess the biggest thing I don't understand is where was the Club when all the counterfiting was happening. It isn't a smartass comment just an uneducated one. I remember a while back whan the guy on the chiptalk forum was posting about making new Dunes chips and everyone on the board was in an uproar. Why was there not more documentation when Bill was supposedly making these 1000's of counterfit chips? Maybe it was...I wasn't around. Maybe they didn't surface till now. I would find that hard to believe though. I feel like this is far from over and there will be MANY pissed off people by the time this all washes out. I see it already as people are dumping "Borlands" left and right on the board and eBAY.

I guess the bottom line is, the younger people,(in the hobby, not age) need to be completely informed so we will know what we are looking at when our Club membership numbers also include a LM- number in our title. Is anyone documenting all the wealth of knowledge this Club has to offer for our future generation or will this Club die out w/ the baby-boomers? I for one truly enjoy the collecting, history and everything that goes along w/ it (pics) and would hate to lose it in 10 more years.

Sorry for the length. I know I am not the only one that feels this way.
