The 'low down' on Carl Osborne - part 2

You may have noticed from my 'part 1' post earlier that several chips usually attributed to Carl Osborne were missing from his list. Well this is why...

When Carl asked Bud Jones to make him chips 'as near as possible to the originals', he was offered all combinations where the casino was closed, Bud had the correct rims and the matching dies.
This included all the chips listed on Carl's note, plus the Holiday International, Silver Bird and Rendezvous casinos.
As the originals for these 3 casinos were incused, Carl declined them and took only those on his list.
When Bill Borland heard about the chips, he contacted BJ and said something to the effect "I heard what you did - I want some as well"
The smooth mold Holiday International $25, $100 & $500, Silver Bird $100, $500 & $1000 and the Rendezvous $100 were ALL made for Bill Borland.

Similarly, Carl had been offered Foxy's Firehouse NCV hotstamp chips by Paul-son (Jimbo please note grin )
He turned them down as he didnt like hotstamps. Borland acquired those chips also in the same manner.
Note that the Foxy's chips were overruns from those supplied to the casino and not manufactured later. The quantities stated in TCR as existing (per the record card) are therefore not correct. Carl has no idea how many of these chips there were.

I have no Rendezvous or Foxy's chips available. I do have a few each of the Holiday Int'l and Silver Bird as follows:

Holiday Int'l
$25 - $10 shipped
$100 - $12 shipped
$500 - $15 shipped
Set of 3 $35 shipped

Silver Bird
$100 - $12 shipped
$500 - $15 shipped
$1000 - $20 shipped
Set of 3 $45 shipped

All 6 chips - $75 shipped
.
