You are only slightly off
In Response To: Dunes $2.50 Not Borland ()

The mold is actually owned by Nick Bates, a friend of mine, and it resides at Blue Chip Co.
It has only been used twice since its purchase from Jim Blanchard - once for a re-run of Nevada Jacks chips and once for my personal chips.
The $2.50 Dunes was made by Sam Heppler, 'accomplice' of Dave Whalen. It actually comes in 3 varieties (Ltd 100, Ltd 250, unlimited)
The chips were made by removing the inlays from genuine Borland chips and replacing them. When I went to Dave Whalen's house to 'interview' him on behalf of the BoD, he showed me a box of about 200 rel Borland chips they were about to remove the inlays from. I duly confiscated them. Included were a number of the $2.50's which I gave away. grin
