grin Won THAT one at the club auction...

I usually collect $5 chips and there was a $5 Santa Anita chip in the club auction as well. For some reason, I had it stuck in my mind that the $5 Santa Anita was RED and the chip in the auction was orange, so I didn't bid on it. It's a higher value chip than the $25 version and went for less than the $25 did...to my buddy, Jay Sands who knew that the chip was supposed to be orange vbg !!

And thank you, Pam, for showing all of the postcards & ashtrays & matches that go along with the chips...it really brings a lot to understand where these little pieces of clay came from. grin Bedo
