OK, I got the stick and it's my turn to beat that dead horse

I totally agree w/ you Ty and Rick. Here's my thinking from a seasoned 1 year collector.

The scan below of the Caesars chip is one of my most fav chips, LE or not. It is also one of the first LE's I bought, (which by the way has led me to my 600+ chip collection and still growing). Is it worth a fortune? Hello no, BUT I love this chip because this was the first job I went out on when we came to Vegas to work. I can always look back on this chip and remember that I had a hand in building that monstrosity of a shopping mall and I have the pics to prove it LMAO! (But I can't find them right now .)

2nd Fav...Jubilee girls chips from Bally's. Why you ask?? Yea, like anyone could look at those butts and ask why . Actually, Gina took me to the Jubilee Show on my B'day! Woooooooooo what a B'day!

3rd... The entire set of Las Vegas 100th Anniv chips. You still ask why??? Because we were HERE! What a cool year it was!

So to me, some of these LE chips are MORE valuable than some of my "better" chips.

I don't have many LE's....Maybe 40 or so. Most all of them mean something personal to me.

SO, in summary: Collect what you like and remember that most of our families think we are all nuts for collecting these things anyway
