I agree, John, the greed is getting worse and worse. The only decent 21 games I've found (for less than a $25 or $50 minimum, and most of those are shoe games) are at El Cortez and Four Queens. Thing is, the casinos were making plenty of money with the old games with better rules, they just decided they wanted more. Greed, pure and simple.

Damn thing is, those single deck 6:5 blackjack, hit soft 17, no double after split, no resplitting aces, double only on 9, 10 and 11 games are getting plenty of play. Usually they're full. There's absolutely no incentive for casinos to give us a better break if they can fill the tables with lousy rules.
