This year, I was really off. I hardly took any pictures at all. In past years, I was just short of a photo journalist, but this year, coming off a brutal traveling schedule, I just didn't have my usual shutterbug enthusiasm.

Now that my excuses are out of the way, let's start with the First Annual Whiners Invitational Texas Hold 'Em Tournament. This was a private tourney (hence the "invitational" in the name), and was really a blast. There was some big, big money riding on the outcome, and against yours truely making it to the money. I'm sad to report I let my people down. I ended up as the bubble boy!

On a happier note, I was finally taken out by Don Longerwell, who took out Jay Sands at the end to capture 1st place and become Champion. Right now, I'm going to just post the pictures, and then afterwards I'll come back and give you all the names.

My apologies to the first few who got knocked out for not getting pictures of you playing....especially Steve Passalaqua. Gee, Steve.....funny how that happens.
