Convention Mention on Las Vegas Advisor Web site

Looks like the convention is getting some good press. The Las Vegas Review Journal article, which was posted earlier on this board, was also put on the wire services and was picked up in a few other media outlets, including print and internet. And a free-lance writer, working on an article for the Chicago Tribune (Chicago's largest newspaper)about the convention and Chicago area collectors, visited the bourse floor today. The mention below is from www.LasVegasAdvisor.com. Kudos to the clubs publicity director Sheldon Smith!

•August 8, 2007 Casino Chip Convention in Town

As mentioned in this column yesterday, the 15th annual Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club convention is in town. The focal point is the show floor where collectors and enthusiasts of casino memorabilia, both past and present, can view anything and everything that has a casino logo on it. More than 100 vendors will be displaying, selling, and trading their wares, which include every kind of casino chip, slot club cards, TITOs, Silver Strikes, ashtrays, matchbooks, and swizzle sticks.
If you'd like to go along and aren't a member, a one-day CC>CC membership can be purchased at the door for $5. Convention times are 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m.-4:40 p.m. Friday, and 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday. For more information log onto www.ccgtcc.com.
