Scott, we have ate at dozens of buffets in Vegas and the only time we had to wait in a line was the GO weekend at Red Rock. Got a number and went and played for 2 or 3 hrs and then ate. I know the Palms (and probably most of the others) has a Comp line and a average Joe line. Never really been an issue out here. Lots of tables and LOTS of food . You will wait longer at, say, Ellis Island bbq but, to kill time they have 1 cent video poker and the bbq is worth the wait......and only 10 bucks for more food than you can eat!
