I have Comcast. There are occassional problems with speed. The customer service from comcast is NOT good. You call tech support and wait time can be very LONG. I had DSL at another location, while speed was not what cable is, for what you are doing DSL will work. In addition DSL cost is less. As Mr Splashbar stated, if you are at the end of the run and many users, things can slow down a bit.
