Comcast took over our local cable about a 8 months ago. Started having problems shortly after that would be connected but run very slow. Never got better. Come to find out they are doing away with the packages we had with our old carrier and switching to new ones. and they offer highspeed internet for around $50 before taxes. But they have a higher speed internet for another $25 a month. I thought high speed internet meant just that so I say go with DSL
