Before I was collecting I used to vacation at the Tropicana. I liked being out in the Island Tower and you know that is where the convention facilities are. Managed to coincide with a couple of Miss Hawaiian Tropic Pagents and something called Adult Fashions and Ligerie Show. Always an interesting crowd on those elevator rides.

I was looking at the LVRJ convention schedule for the week and noticed one at the Riv that didn't ring any bells so I googled "Defcon Convention". It's a bunch of computer hackers. Clicked one link for "Photos From Las Vegas..." and was intriqued by the titles of some of the pics listed:

• Game of Hacker Jeopardy at Defcon hacking convention
• "Vinyl Vanna" doing an extended, never-consummated strip tease during Hacker Jeopardy at Defcon convention
• Defcon attendees try their skills at lock picking
• A federal agent spotted at Defcon hacking convention

And the best one was this one!

Perhaps some ideas for our new convention chairs to consider. I'd pass along the link but, well, these guys are hackers...
