Entering some new chips into my files and just reflecting that they were the freshest chips I'd acquired for a while. Seems I buy a lot of old stuff these days and perhaps I ought to look around for some current issue chips at the Riv this year. Odd though about the chips I buy from the last issue of a joint.Some times when I buy the last issue, it turns out the be, literaly, the last issue! Got some Ho chips along with Stardust and Aladdin last convention. Gone now and no more chips or dogs.Going to get a haircut tomorrow for the big show and made my ressie at Hotel Nevada this afternoon. Ah man, Ely Nevada, gotta love it. Called them up and it sounded like they were having a pretty good time when they answered, somebody must have won a new chainsaw on the nickel slots. Reservation, yep, I'll hold. Only mere minutes later, "Are you looking for Jerry or are you the reservation?" Switched through to George and got our business settled. "Awsome, see you then!" he sez. Going to get pics of Club Rio and Big 4 this trip then on to Las Vegas the next morning. Bunnies and Bridgestones. 'Doh!Hoping to get some time to pull the binders and start making tic marks in my C/W for chip wants and collection holes. NOT going to buy that same $25 diecar I've bought three times now! But I have done pretty doggone good at the conventions. Found this scan from last November when Shoop got us all busy posting colors and molds.
